Welcome to 5th Calgary Indoor Cricket Tournament 2013

What is Indoor Cricket?
Indoor cricket is a variant of and shares many basic concepts with cricket.

Several versions of the game have been in existence since the late 1960s, whilst the game in its present form began to take shape in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Indoor Cricket is a fast paced exhilarating game that can be played and enjoyed by people of all ages.

1. White board » 4 Runs / Net above » 6 Runs.
2. Request to wear team clothing (if no uniforms, then whites)
3. Indoor ball will be used.
4. If ball is stuck or lost or goes out of play » 2 Runs (except 4/6 Runs front net)
5. If ball hits the roof/nets and is caught Not out.

6.No run up for bowlers past the designated (White) line. 
7.If the ball has not left the field of play, batsmen can run any number of desired runs.
8. Anything above batsmen’s shoulder is no ball.
9.Anything down the leg side is wide ball.

10.Off side wide line will be marked.
11. 6 balls per over / 1 over maxim.
12. Byes / leg byes are all allowed.

  • Our aim is to promote the Cricket, Cricketers at all levels among Calgary Youths.
  • To encourage youth to engage in positive Healthy Lifestyles.
  • Encourage and assist the development of community coalitions and programs in preventing drug abuse.
